​My name is Cheryl Funk and I’m a local Artist on Mayne Island. I’ve been creating art or over 30 years.
I’ve created many pieces using several different mediums, I also don’t restrict myself to a certain style. I enjoy working with recycled materials, for an example, I turn old un-used jewelry into beautiful unique wearable pieces.

My favorite is heading down to our local beaches to collect interesting pieces of driftwood to create sculptures or just a simple nautical sign.

​My real passion, however, is painting MCM (mid-century modern). I would describe my paintings as laid-back simplicity. Bold and simple designs. I work Mostly black and white abstracts.
