Bennett BayMayne Island's most popular beaches are Bennett Bay and Campbell Bay. The national park reserve entrance is located between these two bays, providing a fantastic hiking experience to the headland between the two bays. Kayakers can launch their kayaks from Bennett Bay to explore the locally protected marine ecosystem with respect. Visitors can paddle around Georgeson Island, Anniversary Island, and the Belle Chain Islets. However, please remember that access to these islands is restricted and requires special permission from Parks Canada.
This region is home to various species of birds and marine mammals, and visitors often report seeing seals in the summer and sea lions in the winter. Please remember to view wildlife from a safe distance. |

Georgina PointGeorgina Point is the perfect mix of nature, culture, and history. The ample green space and beautiful view of Active Pass make it an ideal place for a picnic. Active Pass has been designated as an Important Bird Area, making it an excellent location for bird-watching enthusiasts. Georgina Point is also the location of one of Mayne Island's most treasured heritage places: the Active Pass Lighthouse.
